I have been teaching in the White Plains School District at White Plains High School for the past 19 years. My subject areas are Regents level biology, Advanced Placement Biology and Engineering. Teaching is my passion and working to help students achieve their life’s goals is my greatest achievement.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife is a retired school teacher. We have a son and daughter in-law for are also teachers. Our daughter works for a large interior architectural firm in the city. We are blessed with two adorable grandsons which keeps you both young and tired at the same time.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Currently I teach 9-12 grade students at WPHS. This is my second career, my first career was in medicine, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Southern Africa to go on safari

Q: What advice would you give to people?
To students- never give up, always try. Adults- You don’t know what you are missing until you step into a classroom

Retired and enjoying life with my wife and grandchildren

I didn’t always have a beard, but it seems like it. No wait, that I wanted to be a history professor.

October- Fall, Thanksgiving- everyone can celebrate this holiday. End of the school year, sometime in June.
